Capricorn: Responsibility calls for choosing which efforts serve a real goal. "8 · Swords" sets the scene; "3 · Cups" raises the challenge. Its Earth element, Saturn rulership and traditional link to "The Devil" provide symbolic context for the sign, not a claim about today's planetary transits.

Reading summary
Reading summary
The sequence begins with "8 · Swords", moves through "3 · Pentacles", and ends with "Ace · Wands". For a question about General, the move from Context to Closure suggests a symbolic development, not a certain outcome.
Several Major Arcana cards put more weight on the underlying issue than on its immediate details.
Swords is the dominant suit; consider how its theme runs through the whole spread.
Several court cards put different ways of acting and relating in focus; they do not establish anyone’s age or gender.
Repeated 3 cards connect separate stages of the spread; consider whether the same concern returns in a new role.
Compare this reading with actual events and conversations before making a decision.
